Aftermath of Budget Issues

The consequences of inadequate budget allocation to CISOs are often catastrophic. This is because the organization is exposed to an increased number of cyber threats that include data theft, ransomware attacks, regulatory fines, and phishing schemes. These attacks pose a long-term effect on the reputation and financial situation of any institution.

The report strongly focused on the importance of cybersecurity and adequate budget allocation to CISOs for this purpose. Cybersecurity is highly essential to safeguard both the data and reputation of an organization. However, failure to strengthen cyber security practices could have an everlasting impact on a company’s network.
